For years i have work on sampling drums and perfecting special techniques of chopping and looping drum breaks to maintain the 'Air' of the instrument in the last ten yeàrs i have been recording my own Drums from scratch. I have spent many hours getting the recordings to have a sound that feels like a break from 1975!
Now the luxury of this is that there are not the limits of sampling from a beat as playing the hits individuality gives longer tail ends and clean hits without tails from other sounds or hits on your sample(i.e like hi hats on kick drums snares ect)
This allows for much more realistic drums from a machine.
